International Workshop-Conference on Teaching Philosophy
The International Workshop-Conference on Teaching Philosophy (IWCTP) is a family-friendly 4 1/2- day conference for philosophy teachers at every educational level. Since 1976 it has been held every two years at different locations in the US or Canada. We emphasize workshops that are practical and interactive, covering a wide range of teaching related subjects. Concurrent with the IWCTP is a selective teaching seminar for graduate students, co-sponsored with the American Philosophical Association. Special events during the conference include a wine and cheese reception, film series, conference banquet, and other informal activities.
