International Studies in Philosophy

Interdisciplinary Issues in Philosophy, Interpretation, and Culture

Stephen David Ross, Editor

International Studies in Philosophy is a peer-reviewed journal long associated with the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Philosophy, Interpretation, and Culture, at Binghamton University. Its principle focus is on questions that cannot be addressed from the standpoint of a single discipline, including recent developments in history, theory, and practice that stretch the boundaries of philosophy. The journal has published work in post-critical continental philosophy; feminist philosophy; gay, lesbian, and queer studies; multicultural studies, postcolonial theory, and critical race theory; critical social theory; and cultural critique. Volumes 1-5 (1969-1973) were published as Studi Internazionali di Filosofia.

Publication of International Studies in Philosophy was suspended after the completion of issue 40:2 (2008), and the journal is being reorganized in cooperation with the Philosophy Documentation Center.
