The New Yearbook for Phenomenology and Phenomenological Philosophy
Burt Hopkins and John J. Drummond, General Editors
The New Yearbook for Phenomenology and Phenomenological Philosophy provides an annual international forum devoted to phenomenology and phenomenological philosophy. Its aim is to renew the original spirit and intention of Edmund Husserl’s Jahrbuch für Philosophie und phänomenologische Forschung, as expressed in that journal's inaugural volume (1913): “This journal is intended . . . to unite those in shared work who hope for a fundamental reform of philosophy by means of the pure and rigorous execution of phenomenologica method.” The New Yearbook explore the phenomenological tradition broadly conceived, including its extension by such figures as Max Scheler, Edith Stein, Martin Heidegger, Oskar Becker, Jean-Paul Sartre, Emmanuel Levinas, Ludwig Landgrebe, Eugen Fink, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and Hans-Georg Gadamer.
