Tulane Studies in Philosophy

Robert C. Whittemore, General Editor

Tulane Studies in Philosophy published topical annual volumes from 1952 to 1987 containing select papers on a particular theme or issue. The mission of the journal was to publish original contributions to philosophy and philosophical scholarship by members of the Tulane University philosophy faculty, Tulane philosophy PhD's, and invited contributors. Some volumes were based on work presented at conferences held at Tulane during these years. Contributors included Edward Ballard, Ramona Cormier, James Feibleman, Andrew Reck, and Michael Zimmerman. The journal was widely distributed and is now held in hundreds of research libraries. Tulane Studies in Philosophy ceased publication in 1987 but all volumes are available here in electronic format.
