POIESIS: Philosophy Online Serials

POIESIS: Philosophy Online Serials is a subscription based reference and publishing service offering libraries searchable access to the full text of hundreds of issues of a selection of philosophy journals and series. All available text is fully searchable and all content is displayed in PDF or HTML format. Uniquely structured around dozens of philosophy titles, POIESIS includes journals and series published by philosophical societies, departments, and university presses in several countries. Originally established in 1996 as an electronic supplement to print subscriptions, this service remains an option within the Philosophy Documentation Center's E-Collection.

For 2013 a POIESIS subscription includes campus wide access to all available issues of the following 27 journals and series:

Please note that access through POIESIS to each journal listed below is only provided in conjunction with a print subscription to that journal.* These subscriptions must be purchased separately. For libraries that maintain print subscriptions, this arrangement can provide affordable online access to complete collections without undermining the income each journal needs to support its continuing operation. For libraries that do not want print subscriptions, most of these journals offer online only access through our fulltext E-Collection.
