Journal of Business Ethics Education
John Hooker, Editor
The collective decisions of business people profoundly influence lives and events around the world. The task of business ethics education is to supply the conceptual tools managers need to make choices that are ethically responsible and
culturally sensitive, as well as technically sound. The mission of the Journal of Business Ethics Education is to assist educators in this task by providing timely educational materials, and by sponsoring a forum for the exchange of ideas and research. The intended audience includes teachers of ethics courses and other business courses where ethical issues arise (whether it be in an academic, corporate, or other organizational setting), as well as managers who are concerned with company ethics.
“Business ethics teaching is extremely controversial. Can it be taught? What should be taught? Who should teach it? The Journal of Business Ethics Education can explore all these issues and others. Business ethics teaching and business ethics itself will be the better for it.” — Norman Bowie, Elmer Andersen Chair in Corporate Responsibility, University of Minnesota, USA
“JBEE is a great resource that provides educators with top-notch research, great ideas, and the latest tools for making sure tomorrow’s business leaders are well-equipped to face the many ethical issues that will confront them daily.” — Joan Fontrodona , Center for Business in Society (CBS), IESE Business School, Spain
