International Society for the Social Studies (ISSS)
The International Society for the Social Studies is a non-profit, professional society devoted to the social studies. ISSS is an international interdisciplinary society for individuals striving to promote and enhance the importance of social studies education across the world. The term of ISSS membership is one calendar year. Each annual membership includes:
1. A print subscription to The Journal of Social Studies Research.
2. An electronic copy of the ISSS Newsletter
3. An electronic copy of the ISSS Conference Proceedings
4. The opportunity to apply for ISSS awards
5. The opportunity to apply for ISSS grants
6. The opportunity to attend ISSS conferences and meetings
7. The opportunity to present at ISSS conferences and meetings
PLEASE NOTE: Beginning with volume 37 (2013), ISSS membership and subscriptions to the Journal of Social Studies Research will be managed by a new publisher.
