Philosophy and Theology

Marquette University Journal

James B. South, Editor

Philosophy & Theology is a peer-reviewed journal that addresses all areas of interest to these two ancient disciplines and explores the common ground that joins them. While Philosophy & Theology is not a journal of the philosophy of religion, one issue each year includes articles devoted to critical contact with the thought and legacy of the theologian Karl Rahner. Rahner’s creative appropriation of diverse theological and philosophical sources provided an innovative conceptual framework that established his reputation as one of the most influential systematic theologians of the Vatican II era. Contributors include Shlomo Avineri, Nicholas Capaldi, Bernard Lonergan, Robert Masson, Nicholas Okrent, Daniel Pekarske, Nicholas Rescher, and Edith Wyschogrod. Annual membership in the Karl Rahner Society includes a subscription to the journal.
