Philosophical Topics

Edward Minar, Editor

Philosophical Topics is a bi-annual journal devoted to the publication of new work in the major areas of philosophy. Each thematic issue of this peer-reviewed journal consists entirely of invited papers and it consistently maintains the highest standard of scholarly excellence. Recent issues have been concerned with perception, agency, modern philosophy, identity, and free will. The journal is published by the University of Arkansas philosophy department and the University of Arkansas Press, and has become an established venue for truly orignal work. Note that the journal started publishing under this title with volume 12 (1981). The first eleven volumes (1970-1980) were published as The Southwestern Journal of Philosophy.

"Philosophical Topics has evolved from a regional journal into a publication featuring invited papers, many of which are authored by leading scholars on an international level." -- Magazines for Libraries
