Philosophy and Phenomenological Research publishes articles in a wide range of areas including philosophy of mind, epistemology, ethics, metaphysics, and philosophical history of philosophy. No specific methodology or philosophical orientation is required for submissions. Established in 1940, the journal was published at Brown University from 1980 to 2006. Past editors include Martin Farber and Roderick Chisholm. Philosophy and Phenomenological Research is published bi-monthly by Wiley-Blackwell and is the official organ of the International Phenomenological Society.
