PHILOSOPHY RESEARCH INDEX
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Journals and Series
We welcome coverage of all journals and series in philosophy. If a journal is accepted for inclusion we will cover all issues, from volume 1 to the present. Discontined journals can also be accepted. By covering complete content of all issues we can provide a complete overview of all documents in each publication.
Journals and series covered in the Philosophy Research Index should contain a significant portion of material in philosophy or relevant material in related disciplines, e.g. applied ethics, religious studies, and classics. To make this determination we will need a sample copy of the publication and the following information:

Information for Publishers
We want to include all philosophical books or journal your company has ever published. In addition to monographs, anthologies, and journals we are interested in specialized reference works, scholarly editions, and discontinued journals or series. Coverage of your titles in the Philosophy Research Index will make them more widely known, and this may create demand for access in print or electronic format.
We can accept data feeds in ONIX, MARC, or proprietary formats. Data currently used for distributors or other databases is generally acceptable. Some publishers send us print copies of their publications. We will work with you to find the most manageable solution.
We currently cover materials in any western language, and we are open to covering materials in other languages as well. To have your publications included, contact the Director of the Philosophy Documentation Center at the address below:
