This peer-reviewed journal is published under the auspices of the Spanish Society of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science (SLMFCE) and the Spanish Society of Analytical Philosophy (SEFA). Most articles are published in Spanish or English, though papers are occasionally accepted in other languages in the fields of logic, philosophy, history of science, philosophy of language, and cognitive sciences. English language abstracts for all articles are included. Originally established in Madrid in 1952, THEORIA was re-established in San Sebastian in 1985. It is published quarterly by the Universidad del País Vasco, and is also known by its Spanish title THEORIA: Revista de Teoría, Historia y Fundamentos de la Ciencia.
